March 2007

My time as a Health Apprentice at Bradford and Airedale and Teaching Primary Care Trust.

I have enjoyed working as a Health Apprentice at the PCT, as it has given me a good understanding of health promotion and I have gained a huge amount of knowledge. I have also learned many new personal skills, which will help me with future employment, which include:-
Time management
Talking on the phone in an office environment
Being organised

I've also learned about many of the different teams at the PCT and the services each team provides.

I have enjoyed working with the mixed age ranges, although I mostly liked working with young people, as they like doing physical activities and are willing to try new things without much persuasion.

I liked most of the projects I have worked on and I feel I have learned a lot from my placement.
