About Amreen

Hi! My name is Amreen Akhtar. I have just finished university doing Biosceience and Health. I will be working at Airedale PCT, which involves going out to the community to promote healthy eating in a range of different places like schools, work places and a assortment of other locations. It will involve working with a variety of different age groups.

There will special activities which are just for women, as some women might not feel comfortable talking about their weight or other health related issues with men around and it's the same with men who don't feel comfortable around women.

There are flexible hours available and the PCT team are really friendly and willing to help if you have any problems.

At the end of this placement I will know if I want a go further in this area and also I will also have a lot of experience behind me to back me up if I do want to go into an assocated area.
