I am based both at the Rainbow Children's Centre and the Highfield Community Centre and, in particular, work closely with the Community midwife.
I help promote Sure Start Services such as breast-feeding awareness, smoking cessation and healthy eating and exercise.
I am also involved in the running of the young mums and tots group at Highfield and also helped set up our own Tiddly Tots mother and baby group at Hainworth Community Centre.
I am currently completing the Breast Feeding peer counsellor programme as a volunteer. My goal of becoming a peer counsellor is to enable mothers to receive information and the support they need to make breastfeeding their babies enjoyable and successful.
