April 2006Myself and a colleague from the Low Fold Family Centre have been concentrating on advertising our Young Mums Group at the Highfield Centre.We want some new mums to attend- to come along for a brew and a chat. I have put some posters up in other community centres but there is still lots to do. We are currently trying to design a brochure for Midwives and Health Visitors to give out. We have put together a 12 week timetable, with lots to do for the mothers and children with a day trip at the end of the 12 weeks. In the Easter holidays I designed a weekly register and enquiry sheet for the mums to fill in. This will hold information like birthdays, so we can make the mother and child's day extra special. |
