I attended a volunteer's award ceremony at the Rainbow Children's Centre, Guardhouse and received an award to recognise my personal development and achievements throughout 2006.
I visited the town centre and spoke to the cafe owners who had the Breast-feeding stickers on display in the windows and they gave me some very positive feedback. Lots of really good comments have been made by the public and also nursing mothers. They now feel they are welcome to breastfeed in the town centre and know exactly were to go. This has made the whole project worthwhile. I will continue to update the stickers in the windows and keep in contact with the cafe staff on a regular basis.
