March 2006

The Red Card Theatre visited the Keighley Disabled Peoples Centre and gave a performance of an anti-racist play. I helped organise the evening, along with 2 of the other Apprentices and 3 community development workers. The play was for over 15s, because of the content and the language of the play. It lasted about forty minutes, before a short discussion was held on some of the issues raised. The audience were moved and challenged by the play and the evening was a great success.
