About Maxine

Before this post, I was an active volunteer for Sure Start Keighley. I helped run various groups, including swimming sessions for parents and babies, trips, cook and eat sessions, where parents could come in and buy a main meal and a desert for a £1 per adult and 50p per child. I also helped to set up the Sure Start Rainbow Library. During this time, I supported the Parent and Toddler group at Our Lady of Victories Primary School. I was also involved in setting up after school activity sessions for children aged 5-13 called Innit Mega.
I am a committee member for Innit Mega and the Whinfield Community Centre, where I helped to set up and run activity sessions for children aged 10-15 and a Parent and Toddler group and an older person's luncheon club.

I am really excited about this new post as it relates closely to a lot of the things I have done in the past. I am looking forward to new and exciting experiences to come in the future.
