I am working in the café and also help with Mothers & Toddlers on Mondays- I find it great and enjoy my work. When I first started seeing the toddlers, they were a bit cautious as they didn't know me, but gradually they seem OK with me. One day I was working in the café doing breakfast for the estate and as I came out to give one of the customers their breakfast, one of the toddlers from Mothers & Toddlers came in and came up to me and said "Hello". I was so amazed and even the mother was a bit shocked as the child is usually very shy and doesn't say much, but now she smiles all the time and even sat on my knee. I think I have gained her trust and that means a lot to me.
