Youth groups
I have been involved in setting up a youth group for 13-19 years old in Hainworth Wood Road Community Centre and Parkwood Community Flats. The youth session takes place on a Thursday evening between 6.30-8.30pm, doing various activities each week. I go every other week to these youth session and on alternative Thursdays I go to the Bangladeshi Community Association to help the 13-19 year olds to get through their Duke of Edinburgh award.

Over 50's
I have been supporting the Over 50's club at the Hainworth Community Centre. It takes place every Tuesday. I help the existing group participate in fun and games, as well as helping to cook lunch. We usually have good turn out of 15 to 20 people each week and I have been told that the senior citizens find my support very useful to the group.

NAPs (Neighbourhood Action Planning groups)
Since I have been in post I have been involved with all the five NAP areas around Keighley. NAPs provide support to local communities, looking at the health issues and community needs that people have identified in their own neighbourhood action plan.

The Naps areas are:
Hainworth / Parkwood
Braithwaite / Guardhouse
Branshaw / Fell lane
Stockbridge
Eastwood
