Youth groups
Their 12-week Hainworth Wood 13-19 year group project has come to an end but the youth session will continue running until the end of the year. The group is still meeting on regularly on a Thursday evening and are planning future activities, projects and events. The 13- 19 year olds at the Bangladeshi Community Centre are currently doing football at Marley Stadium, as part of their Duke of Edinburgh award. During the Spring Bank holidays we had a 3-day activity 'week'. The group did various things such as Cook and Eat, football, bowling and other activities of their own choice.

Over 50's
The Hainworth Wood Over 50's completed the last week of the five weeks Reminisces Project with the Whinfield group. They had two birthdays to celebrate, which they did with music and games. They all had a great experience, meeting each other and getting to socialise with the other senior citizens from different communities. The group at Hainworth are still meeting on Tuesdays.

Neighbourhood Action Planning Groups (NAPs)
All the NAP groups are putting together questionnaires to ask the residents, in their communities, what concerns them the most. We are hoping to ask as many people as possible by taking the questionnaires out into the community and also by asking people who attend community events in the coming months. We hope to tackle effectively the issues that the majority raise as their biggest concerns.

The following areas are having a community event:

Braithwaite and Whinfield - the weeks beginning 14th and 21st August on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays
Eastwood (Keighley) Community event - 15th July
Hainworth Wood (Keighley) Community event - 10th August

Courses attended this month
