About Noz

My name is Nosir Ali and I am 20 years old. I am a very outgoing person who always is eager to learn new skills and tackle challenges. I am a warm and friendly person, who can get on with people very easily.
I have done a lot of work in the last six years, both within my own and other communities on voluntary basis. I have worked with young kids, disabled people and the elderly and I have organised projects and events, which has given me knowledge and experience of the voluntary sector. This led me to take up the job as Health Apprentice.

My role will be supporting and working with local voluntary and community groups. I will be based in Keighley but serving the wider area, working with a group of local people. We offer support for local groups:

  • Tackling inequalities & discrimination
  • Setting up a youth session for the Parkwood/ Hainworth communities of Keighley
  • Dad's group planning session at Highfield, Keighley
  • Working with Neighbourhood Action Planning groups (NAPs) in four parts of Keighley
