Login
The login page will open up in a new window so you can return to view this help page whilst logging in.
When the new page opens you will see two entry boxes.
By default the upper box is selected for you. This is called Username.
Enter your Email address in this box in full.
Then, in the second lower box called Password, enter your password.
This will either be the original password you were supplied with, if this is your first time
logging in,
OR
The password you chose when changing from the original.
Press enter on your keyboard or the Login button on the screen and you will enter the webmail interface.
Changing your Password
Once you have accessed your webmail account I would suggest changing your password.
- Click on the Settings tab at the top
- Next to your Email address there will be a Change Password link
- Follow the instructions in the next box to change the password to your desired choice.
- Enter the password you used to login.
- Choose a new password.
- Repeat the password to make sure you didn't make a mistake.
- Click the OK button.
- Please remember that when you change your password, it cannot be retrieved if lost or forgotten.
- A lost or forgotten password will mean resetting your account and the possibility of losing any unread or unsaved Emails.
- Keep your password safe.
Mailbox Size
The mailbox you have been allocated is approximately 1 gigabyte (1GB).
Whilst this is a reasonably large mailbox it will, given time, fill up.
You are therefore asked to manage your mailbox if you intend to hold all mail on the server.
If you intend to download your emails to an email client then the size of your mailbox should not be a problem.
Administration are able to see the amount of space used on each mailbox only.
If you're out and about, anywhere in the world, you will still be able to login to your account and collect your mail.
Ideal for keeping in touch while on holiday or doing a bit of work whilst it rains.

Webmail or Email?
What is the difference? Surprisingly not a lot.
Well, as it's name suggests Webmail is Email that is accessible on the Web.
Most Internet Service Providers (ISP's) are using this method now. It gives a great
range of accessibility to the user. You can still set your Email program to download your
mail so you have a copy on your hard drive at home or work. That is the standard method
and has been for a while now.
But what happens when you're away on business and someone rings to say they have sent you
that important mail and you're out and about? With webmail you could go into an internet
cafe and collect the mail.
This is a great way of giving you greater freedom to do what you need to do with your Email.

Mail Forwarding
So now, you are all set. You have your Email address and you are ready to go.
However, you already have an email address.
Would it be helpful if you could just go to one location and collect your email?
Mail forwarding can do this for you. Any emails that are sent to your health apprentice
address will then be forwarded straight to the email address you prefer to use.
If you would like to use this facility, please just mail me
the address you would like your mails sending to and I will set this up for you.
